Kid's Park Outing is still going ahead today. Hope to see you there!

Quiet Books with Bridget

Would you be interested in making a Quiet Book? These beautiful handmade books are wonderful for keeping hands and minds occupied during those times children need to be quiet. Great for sacrament meeting! They make priceless presents as well.

Bridget will be teaching us how over a series of Saturday activities using a pattern she created herself. If you would be interested in being involved, please let Sarah or Bridget know.

Do you have a legal will? We will be a holding a very special Enrichment Activity to help you answer the following questions:

* what is a will?

* do I need one?
* what decisions do I need to make?
* how do I prepare a will
* when do I need to update my will
All sisters, their relatives and friends are invited to attend this information session with a special guest speaker from The Public Trustee, Blacktown Office.

Due to illness, the first meeting of bookclub will be postponed until the following Wednesday.

Also, Terina hasn't received money from everyone for the September order. If you could get that to her ASAP that would be great. If you have decided not to order the book this month please drop her a line just to let her know.

Children's Storybook Corner - Service Project

Thursday 9th August

7:00 - 8:30pm

Come along to view some beautiful new books we will be covering for a primary school. Please bring a pair of scissors and a ruler. A great opportunity to catch up with the other sisters while providing some service for the community.

Bookclub money

The deadline for money for the first bookclub book has been extended to Tuesday 7th August to give everyone enough time to order. Please contact Terina regarding payment. To allow enough time for everyone to read the book we will be moving the first meeting to Wednesday 12th September, all other details remain the same.

Bookclub

Bookclub is being relaunched! We will be holding the first meeting at the end of August but we need to order the book now to give us plenty of time to read it. August's book will be The Great & Terrible v4: Fury & Light by Chris Stewart (click here for more info on the book). The book will be $20 and money needs to be forwarded to Terina by Monday 30th July either by direct deposit or cash directly to Terina. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding bookclub Terina would love to hear from you.

Do you have children preparing to start big school? Wondering if they are ready and what you can do to help them prepare? Honi will be holding a School Readiness day at her home. Come along with all your questions!

Say Cheese! Photography with Aria

Want to take fabulous photos of your friends and family? Then come along to our photography activity with Aria, where she will be teaching some of the skills of beautiful portrait photography.

Please bring your camera along (digital or film is fine). Children are welcome (they will make great subjects to practice on!) The same information will be covered on both days so come along to whichever one suits.
